Laura & Mike | Wixom Wedding

When Laura made a post looking for a wedding photographer in a Facebook group, I naturally responded. We started chatting about her upcoming DIY Wixom wedding and getting to know each other. After a little more conversation we realized that her, her fiancé Mike, and I were all Brighton High School band alumni. Go Bulldogs! I’m always amazed by how small the world really is in the grand scheme of things.

Laura planned her Wixom wedding in about six months and it was flawless. She had so many adorable DIY wedding touches that really added that personal feel to their wedding. She created a special table was put on display to celebrate and remember passed family members.

All day I overheard Mike gushing over her beautiful work. I heard him telling their guests how much of a rock star Laura was for pulling it all together in such a short time. Every time he talked about her, you could just hear and feel how much he loves her, and the beaming smile he had every time he looked at Laura was enough to melt anyone’s heart. These two are truly soul mates.
