Chad & Emily | Laingsburg Wedding

When I met up with Emily to grab a coffee and discuss her fall Laingsburg wedding, we hit it off right away. One of the first things she asked was if I had any issue with their dog being in some of the family photos. Of course not! Pets are part family after all right?! Not to mention, who doesn’t love getting to play with dogs while at work? She showed me photos of her yellow lab, Peanut, and she looked like such a sweetheart; I couldn’t wait to meet her at the wedding. During our meeting, Emily also showed me some of their DIY projects her and her sister had done. One of them was a pallet sign with her soon-to-be last name initial made from old license plates. It looked awesome in the cell phone photo she showed me, but it was even more amazing in person!

Fast forward to the wedding day, when Peanut arrived for the family photos, she did not disappoint. Her wiggle butt was wagging a-mile-a-minute and she would greet anyone and everyone with a giant wet kiss. The best kind of puppy love there is! After the family photos were done, I stole Chad and Emily away for a few photos by themselves and to give them a breather before the party got started. When describing her venue to me, Emily said it was “a little country,” but I never would have thought that their Laingsburg wedding would be so beautiful. They had the most perfect cotton candy sunset and fall foliage!

Venue: Victor Township Hall
