Bride and groom at their fall Cascades Manor wedding

Cascades Manor Wedding | Charley & Elise

Charley and Elise asked me to capture their wedding at Cascades Manor, and I couldn’t have been more honored. Since I started my business as a Jackson-based wedding photographer, this venue holds a special place in my heart. I love its rich history and the way it perfectly blends classic architecture with modern charm. Their fall wedding was filled with personal details, from punk rock accents to cozy seasonal colors.

Why I Love Cascades Manor

Cascades Manor, built in 1932, sits inside the beautiful Sparks Foundation Park in southwest Jackson, Michigan. It was originally designed as a clubhouse for the Cascades Golf Course. Over the years, the venue has been lovingly restored, making it a timeless space for weddings and events. When you step inside, the historic charm and warmth of the venue set the tone for a day you’ll never forget. I love this venue for a number of reasons. There’s ample on site parking, it fully accessible if you or any guests have mobility issues, and the setting overlooking the lake is beautiful. Not to mention, the staff has always been so pleasant to work with. The owners have really done a wonderful job!

A Wedding Full of Personality

Charley and Elise made their Cascades Manor wedding truly their own. They embraced a punk rock vibe with skull and crossbones cufflinks, a black wedding cake, and a skeleton couple cake topper. These unique details added so much personality and flair to the day.

Their wedding colors were perfect for fall in Michigan. Burnt orange and deep red dresses for the bridesmaids popped against the warm, earthy tones of brown suits for the groomsmen. Every detail felt intentional, from the florals to the cake design.

Cascades Manor: A Perfect Jackson Venue

What makes Cascades Manor special is its versatility. Whether you’re planning a laid-back celebration or an elegant event, it adapts beautifully. Its stunning location inside Sparks Foundation Park offers endless photo opportunities, especially in the fall when the colors come alive.

Charley and Elise’s wedding proved just how magical a day here can be. This venue truly provides a backdrop that tells your story in the most heartfelt way.
