Irish Hills Barn wedding photographer - varying shades of gray bridesmaid dresses

Irish Hills Barn Wedding | Felicia & Harley

When I heard that Joel, the owner of Mid-Michigan Entertainment, was opening a wedding venue in the heart of Brooklyn, Michigan, I was beyond excited. Having worked with his DJs numerous times in the past, I already knew his commitment to professionalism and creating an unforgettable party atmosphere. The Irish Hills Convention Center & Barn is a perfect reflection of that. The venue is the perfect blending of rustic charm with modern convenience to create an ideal wedding venue.

A Beautiful Hidden Ceremony Spot

Felicia and Harley’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. They exchanged vows at the Hidden Irish Hill ceremony site. This secluded gem nestled on a small hill in the woods provided a perfect natural altar. Overlooking the historic barn, this location offers a breathtaking backdrop for couples who dream of a woodland wedding setting. The towering trees and soft rustling leaves added an extra layer of romance to their heartfelt ceremony.

A Historic Barn Reception

Following their intimate ceremony, the celebration moved to the Irish Hills Barn, a stunning structure dating back to 1848. With its exposed wooden beams, warm lighting, and spacious layout, it was the perfect setting for Felicia and Harley’s lively reception. Though the day was warm, the atmosphere inside the barn was filled with nothing but joy and laughter. Friends and family came together to celebrate the couple.

The couple’s décor choices complemented the venue’s rustic charm beautifully. They included soft floral arrangements, twinkling fairy lights, and vintage-inspired touches created an enchanting ambiance. As the evening progressed, Joel’s team kept the dance floor packed. Proving once again why Mid-Michigan Entertainment is a top choice for wedding receptions.

Capturing the Magic of an Irish Hills Barn Wedding

From the sun-drenched ceremony in the woods to the golden-hour portraits around the barn, Felicia and Harley’s wedding was a dream to photograph. The Irish Hills Convention Center & Barn offers so many incredible backdrops. It truly is an ideal venue for capturing timeless wedding memories. For a historic, charming, and magical venue, Irish Hills Barn is a stunning choice.
