The other day I was down at the Ypsilanti Farmers Market and a friend of mine was selling jalapenos. I love salsa, but I’m going to be honest I’m a baby when it comes to spicy things, so I was a little nervous to make my own garden fresh salsa with her jalapenos. Every time I make a something and it actually turns out I’m still shocked, and this one was no different. This salsa is amazing! Of course my coworkers were very willing test subjects and offered to take some extra as it made quite a bit (enough for 2-4 people). Being my first time whipping this up, I wanted to make enough to split between both jobs so I made two batches. It was a big hit and has inspired yet another work potluck. My coworkers are like family to me so it’s great that we all get together over food like family does.
1/2 cup Chopped Onion
3 Roma Tomatoes
2 Garlic Cloves
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Cilantro
*add other ingredients such as black beans or avocado per your liking*
Chop everything up and stir. It’s honestly that simple!
